Iland Lures Competition Terms and Conditions
All the nitty gritty rules about our International Iland Lure photo / video competition are down below in the fine print, but there's really nothing to it.
Every month, starting with September 2014, Iland Lures will give away an Iland Lure hamper, consisting of Iland Lures, to the retail value of R2000.00 (Two Thousand Rand) for the best photo or video displaying a catch with an Iland Lure.
This competition starts on 01 September 2014 and the first winner, for the month of September 2014, will be announced during the second week of October 2014. A similar process will be followed for the months of October 2014 and thereafter. This competition will continue for the next consecutive twelve months and the last month in which this competition will be held, will be August 2015. During September 2015, the winning photo or video, displaying a catch with an Iland Lure, chosen from the 12 winning photos or videos during the period 01 September 2014 to 31 August 2015, will be announced and the winner will receive an Iland Lure hamper, consisting of Iland Lures, to the retail value of R10 000.00 (Ten Thousand Rand).
Entries will have to be accompanied with details about the catch (a story about the catch may not be less than 60 words) and Anglers will be able to submit their catches' details, photos or videos online on the Iland Lure website at www.ilandlures.co.za.
At the end of every month the four judges in this competition will screen all the entries and decide on the best photo or video for that specific month. The photo or video with the most votes from the judges wins the Iland Lure hamper worth R2000.00 (retail value) for that specific month. The judges' decision will be final and the winner of each month will be will be announced and displayed on our website.
All participants in this competition herewith agree that the images and/or videos submitted on our website are not copyright and that Iland Lures (Tournament Tackle Traders CC) is authorised to use or edit the attached files as they see fit.
The winner of any of the Iland Lure prizes will be the person that submitted the entry and will be displayed as "entry submitted by".
A fishing story, with accompanied photos or videos, may not be entered more than once during this competition. Any previously submitted entries or photos will therefore not be accepted a second time. No previous photos, entered on previous Iland Lure photo competitions, will be considered.
You may enter more than one entry per month.
OFFICIAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS (FULL DETAILS)
THERE WILL BE NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS COMPETITION.
ELIGIBILITY: The "Iland Lures Photo or Video Competition" (Promotion) is open internationally to individuals age 18 or older. Do not participate in this Promotion if you are not 18 years of age at the time of entry. Contest is void wherever prohibited by law.
PRIZE VALUE / TERMS OF SERVICE OF PRIZE: Iland Lures to the value of R2000.00 (RSA Retail value) and an overall winning prize of Iland Lures to the value of R 10 000.00 (RSA Retail value).
HOW TO PLAY: Enter your catch with an Iland Lure at http://www.ilandlures.co.za. Follow the instructions to enter and upload your photos or video of your catch with an Iland Lure. You may submit as many photos of your catch, for inclusion in that month’s contest, provided the photos are all about the same catch.
PROMOTION PERIOD: From September 01, 2014 until August 31, 2015.
WINNER NOTIFICATIONS: Winning contestants will be posted on Iland Lure's website and on our Iland Lure Sportfishing Facebook page. It is the responsibility of the contestants to monitor contest results and claim their prize via provided instructions. Prizes will be shipped/posted via courier service. Except where prohibited by law, winning constitutes permission to use winners' names, hometowns, likenesses, prize won and photographs for online posting, and/or any advertising and publicity without additional compensation. Winners must provide Iland Lures with their legal name, current mailing address, and photo upon request.
WINNERS LIST: Winners will be posted within the Iland Lures website and on our Facebook page.
INVALID ENTRIES: Any entries deemed to be fraudulent by Iland Lures will be invalid. Employees, officers, editors (and their immediate family and household members (whether or not related) of Iland Lures (the "Sponsor"), and its divisions, participating vendors, participating advertising and promotion agencies and affiliated entities are not eligible to participate. In the event of sabotage, acts of God, terrorism or threats thereof, computer virus or other events or causes beyond the Sponsor's control, which corrupt the integrity, administration, security or proper operation of the Promotion, Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify entrants and/or modify, cancel or suspend the Promotion.
RELEASE: By entering this competition/promotion, participants agree, to the fullest extent permitted under applicable law, to release, discharge and hold harmless Iland Lures, their affiliates, their respective owners, and representatives from any and all damages, liabilities, costs and expenses which may arise out of participation in this competition/promotion or out of the acceptance, use, or misuse of prizes. By participating, you agree to these Official Rules and to the decisions of the judges whose decisions shall be deemed final and binding. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute for any reason whatsoever a prize (or portion thereof) of comparable or greater value, at their sole discretion. Prize is awarded "as is" with no warranty or guarantee, either expressed or implied by the Sponsor. The Winners are responsible for the reporting and payment of all taxes (if any) as well as any other costs and expenses associated with acceptance and use of prize not specified herein as being awarded. Winners may be required to execute an affidavit of eligibility, liability release, tax acknowledgment form and, except where prohibited by law, a publicity release and return within five (5) business days of issuance of notification. Noncompliance within this time period or failure of potential winners to respond after three (3) notification attempts may result in disqualification. The Promotion Entities expressly disclaim any responsibility and entrants agree to indemnify and hold harmless Iland Lures from and against any and all claims, actions, demands and/or liability for injury, damage or loss whatsoever relating to or arising in connection with participation in this competition/promotion (regardless of the cause of such injury, damage or loss) and/or the delivery and/or subsequent use or misuse of any of the prizes awarded.
